Face

I don't have accomplishments to list yet. I came back to writing after a long period of having given up on my dreams. What I have is a debut novel underway, and a reading list built with more intention than most; an attempt to find my own voice among writers who already have one.

Interleaving four kinds of influence — the raw, transformative voice-work of Miller (The Rosy Crucifixion especially) and Céline; the atmospheric, structural experiments of Haruki Murakami and Pascal Garnier; the formal play and psychological pressure of Witold Gombrowicz; and the visionary density of Brian Catling.

I live in the United States and am currently working on my first novel, Nobody Knows Your Face.
